Getting Around - Information Centres
As well as the front-desk staff at your hotel, there are a number of reliable information sources for visitors in Sydney. The Sydney Visitor Centre at The Rocks is conveniently located in the heart of one of the most popular tourist precincts on the Corner of Argyle and Playfair Steets. The friendly staff at the Centre are there to assist you from 9am till 6pm every day of the week. They also provide a booking service for accommodation, tours, cruises and attractions. A selection of books, postcards and phone-cards is also available for purchase.

Sydney Visitor Information Centre at Darling HarbourThe Sydney Visitor Centre at Darling Harbour is located under the Freeway between IMAX and Darling Walk. It is open 10am till 6pm every day. There are also Tourist Information kiosks at Town Hall, Circular Quay and Martin Place. If you're not in the city you can book cruises and tours or arrange accommodation simply by phoning Travellers Services on 9317 3588.

Australian Travel Specialists also have outlets at Harbourside at Darling Harbour and opposite Jetty No 6 at Circular Quay. As well as being a mine of information on Sydney sightseeing, they’re the experts in organizing tours and travel around Australia.
