For the first time ever in Australia the Beijing Golden Sail Symphony Orchestra will perform for one concert only at the Sydney Opera House.  Over one hundred young and talented student musicians will play an auditory feast on Tuesday 1 October, the Chinese National Day.

We had the pleasure of attending the Fawlty Towers Dining experience last night at the Sydney Opera House. 
 
The audience are literally the patrons in the Fawlty Towers restaurant, being waited on by the fawning and insane Basil Fawlty, his crazy wife Sybil Fawlty and their brilliant waiter Manuel - who takes instructions a little too literally, with hysterical results.
 
It was such a fun experience with the Fawlty towers team performing in uproarious fashion for 2 hours. A great show for all and especially for Fawlty towers fans. The show is running from September 24 - September 29

BCNA is holding a Tribute Field of Women in Sydney during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

15,000 Pink Lady silhouettes will be planted in Bennelong Lawn, in the Royal Botanic Gardens just near the Sydney Opera House, on Friday 11 October (11am - 7pm) and Saturday 12 October (8am - 3pm). A brief ceremony will be held at 11am on Saturday 12 October.
 
The 15,000 silhouettes will represent the number of Australian women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. 125 blue silhouettes will also be planted to represent the number of men diagnosed with breast cancer this year.
