WHAT A LIFE!  ROCK PHOTOGRAPHY BY TONY MOTT THIS MAJOR retrospective showcases rock n’ roll life – on stage and behind the scenes - Captured by Australia's premiere rock photographer Tony Mott over 30 extraordinary years behind the lens. The display at The State Library of NSW, features the biggest names in music like the Rolling Stones, as well as the local independent band scene. This exhibition also tracks the enormous changes in the music industry in Australia over the last 20 years, including declining live venues in Sydney, and the impact of digital technology on the art of rock photography. Inspiration By Design is on at the State Library of NSW from 8 July to 27 Sept 15
See talented Australian painter, printmaker & designer Julie Paterson at work this week at the State library of NSW
Julie will create a new piece inspired by the amazing waratah designs on show in the Library's free exhibition, Australian Inspiration. Visit Julie between 10am and 2pm, from today until Friday.
